在設(shè)計圖紙中一般采用公稱直徑來表示，公稱直徑是為了設(shè)計制造和維修的方便人為地規(guī)定的一種標(biāo)準，也較公稱通徑，是方管（或者管件）的規(guī)格名稱。方管的公稱直徑和其內(nèi)徑、外徑都不相等，例如：公稱直徑為100MM的無縫方管郵102*5、108*5等好幾種，108為方管的外徑，5表示方管的壁厚，因此，該方管的內(nèi)徑為（108*5-5）＝98MM，但是它不完全等于方管外徑減兩倍壁厚之差，也可以說，公稱直徑是接近于內(nèi)徑，但是又不等于內(nèi)徑的一種方管直徑的規(guī)格名稱，在設(shè)計圖紙中所以要用公稱直徑，目的是為了根據(jù)公稱直徑可以確定方管、管件、閥門、法蘭、墊片等結(jié)構(gòu)尺寸與連接尺寸，公稱直徑采用符號DN表示，如果在設(shè)計圖紙中采用外徑表示，也應(yīng)該作出管道規(guī)格對照表，表明某種管道的公稱直徑，壁厚。

It can be said that the nominal diameter is close to the internal diameter, but not equal to the internal diameter of a pipe diameter specification name, in the design drawings to use nominal diameter, the purpose is to determine the nominal diameter of the pipe, fittings, valves, flanges, gaskets and other structural dimensions and connection size, nominal diameter using the symbol DN It is indicated that if the outer diameter is used in the design drawings, a comparison table of pipe specifications should also be made to indicate the nominal diameter and wall thickness of a pipe.
鍍鋅方管跟焊管主要區(qū)別：焊管分為螺旋縫焊和直焊方管，螺旋縫焊方管分為自 動埋弧焊管和高頻焊管，直焊方管又分為普通直焊鋼 管和不銹焊管。無縫方管按制造方法分為熱軋管和冷軋( 拔)管，其精度分為普通和高級兩種。冷軋(拔)管的最大公稱直 徑為200mm，熱軋管最大公稱直徑為600mm。無縫方管還有不銹鋼 無縫方管，不銹鋼無縫方管分為熱軋、熱擠壓不銹鋼無縫方管和冷軋(拔)不銹鋼無縫方管兩種。

無保護層型有無保護層方管，過去通常叫不鍍鋅方管(黑鐵 管)。質(zhì)地型方管主要是指不銹鋼無縫方管和不銹鋼焊管 ，在室外大中管道給水上，由于造價、連接等原因未曾推廣應(yīng) 用過。
